Ekōwhai sprung out of a desire to see a change in New Zealand housing. We firmly believe that everybody deserves access to a warm, dry, healthy and affordable home. Our people are at the heart of our housing model. We view housing in a holistic lens, considering health, wellbeing, financial and environmental factors all working together in harmony, so our people have a foundation and a home where they can truly prosper.
Meet The Founders
Together, Korey (Director) and Nikki (General Manager) founded Ekōwhai in 2022. Our team has specific
expertise and knowledge in energy-efficient design principles, airtight construction, and ventilation systems.
Korey Glassie
As a Licensed Building Practitioner with over a decades experience of building quality residential homes, Korey manages the construction of our homes throughout the nation, overseeing our tradesmen and ensuring the process is seamless end-to-end.
Nikki Glassie
With an extensive range of corporate experience as an HR Manager at one of New Zealand’s top fund managers, Nikki has outstanding expertise in people, culture and providing our clients with the finest experience. Nikki is responsible for operational aspects of Ekōwhai, and leads the implementation and roll-out of strategic initiatives.
